Level 1 Option
Level 1 includes:
- Check Lubricating Oil, add as required
- Check Air Filter, clean as needed
- Check Fuel Lines/Hoses for Leaks
- Check Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch Warning Lights, Gauges & Functions
- Check Battery Charger, adjust if necessary
- Check battery capacity, clean & apply anticorrosion treatment to terminal
- Perform Generator, Generator End, ATS & Component functional and safety check
- Run Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch – under load (customer authorization required)
- Conduct Electrical Frequency Analysis
Level 2 Option
Level 2 includes:
- Change Lubricating Oil & Oil Filter
- Change Air Filter
- Check Fuel Lines/Hoses for Leaks
- Check Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch Warning Lights, Gauges & Functions
- Check Battery Charger, adjust if necessary
- Replace Spark Plugs
- Check battery capacity, clean & apply anticorrosion treatment to terminal
- Perform Generator, Generator End, ATS & Component functional and safety check
- Run Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch – under load (customer authorization required)
- Conduct Electrical Frequency Analysis
Liquid-Cooled Generator Service Options For Generac and Kohler
Level 1 Option
Level 1 includes:
- Check Lubricating Oil, add as required
- Check Radiator/Cooling System – add coolant if required
- Check Air Filter(s), Hoses & Crankcase Breather
- Check Fuel Lines/Hoses for Leaks, Inspect vents
- Check/Clean Fuel Sediment Bowl
- Check Fuel/Water Separator
- Check Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch Warning Lights, Gauges & Functions
- Check Fan Belts/Adjust Tension
- Check Governor Belts/Adjust Tension
- Check Battery Charger, adjust if necessary
- Check Battery Capacity, Clean & Apply Anticorrosion Treatment to Terminal
- Perform Generator, Generator End, Automatic Transfer Switch & Component Functional and Safety Check
- Run Generator & ATS – under load (customer authorization required)
- Conduct Electrical Frequency Analysis
Level 2 Option
Level 2 includes:
- Change Lubricating Oil & Oil Filter

- Perform Coolant Analysis/Test Freeze Point, Nitrate Levels, Corrosion Inhibitor Levels
- Check Air Filter(s), Hoses & Crankcase Breather
- Change Air Filter
- Check Fuel Lines/Hoses for Leaks, Inspect vents. Check/Clean Fuel Sediment Bowl
- Replace Fuel/ Water Separator
- Check Generator & Automatic Transfer Switch Warning Lights, Gauges & Functions
- Check Fan Belts/Adjust Tension
- Check Governor Belts/Adjust Tension
- Check Battery Charger, adjust if necessary
